Celebrating 37 years in business!
There are leaders in every field, and there are leaders who make their mark through innovation. Joseph Paris is not only an internationally renowned wig designer, he is an innovator with the vision to design cutting-edge hair systems.
He designed hair systems for more than 40 years for film, theater, and television. He styled the hair of Frank Sinatra for 25 years, and was the personal stylist to the King of Morocco.
With his extensive experience, he understands how unforgiving the eye of the camera can be. A Hollywood production company could spend more than five thousand dollars to make hair look natural on film. The MHP Hair System is now being made affordable to people experiencing medically related hair loss.
He spent many years improving the self-image of celebrities, such as Jaclyn Smith, Barbara Streisand, Barbara Sinatra and Mariska Hargitay, and wanted to take his vast experience in wig design and hairstyling to a new level. Mr. Paris also made a piece for Chris Maloney, for his movie, Murder in Greenwich. He designed the MHP Hair System, an innovative and affordable alternative to a mass-produced wig, for patients facing medically-related hair loss. The MHP Hair System has been very well received by his clients.
When you become a client of his salon, you’ll have Joseph Paris’ extensive experience and personalized attention.

The Joseph Paris Claim
Cancer affects not only the physical body, but the mind, heart and spirit as well. Not only does the cancer itself have a profound psychological effect, but it is the treatment of cancer that is equally traumatic, and often overlooked. The side effects from chemotherapy treatment cause varying degrees of sickness, and in some cases, extreme discomfort for the patient. This condition can last for days after chemotherapy drugs are administered. This is only one example of how physical side effects can a deteriorate patient’s mental well- being.
There is a common misconception about hair loss. In comparison to physical pain, hair loss is considered somehow less of a concern, when a patient’s life is hanging in the balance. Yes, it is true that if we had the choice between physical pain and hair loss, the obvious choice is hair loss. The difference is, chemotherapy patients do not have a choice, and they do in fact experience both physical discomfort and hair loss. Just because hair loss as a side effect does not involve physical pain, does not mean that it is not equally traumatic. In fact, hair loss can be even more psychologically traumatic. Although physical discomfort subsides a few days after each treatment, hair loss is prevalent until the completion of treatment. It will take 8 to 12 months for a patient’s hair to grow to a cosmetically acceptable length. The mental trauma of side effect hair loss is with the patient long after chemotherapy treatment is complete.
I know from my experience in dealing with thousands of people undergoing chemotherapy treatment that if the patient looks in the mirror and sees only the wig, then that wig is not therapeutic for the patient to wear. The wig must look real in order for it to feel real. Preserving the appearance of patients during treatment will support them psychologically, opposed to the emotional insecurity one feels when wearing a wig that looks unnatural.
I am proving my theory with facts and applying it to my concept. From the holistic and psychological standpoints, the MHP Hair System is in fact an integral part of chemotherapy treatment and should be mandatory practice in the battle against cancer. Awareness of the truth of my claim must be brought to the attention of doctors, nurses, nurses’ aids, receptionists, insurance companies, and cancer patients.
